William John Newton was born on 3rd September 1927 in Barnet,Hertfordshire.
He married Margaret on 1st April 1950,and together they had 5 children-Lesley,Francis(d),Lynne,Gillian and Paul.
He had 8 grandchildren David,Nicki,Ian,Andrew, Chris,
Helen,Abbie and Alex.
Also he had 12 GreatGrandchildren Becks,Tom,Maria, Shane,Wills, Floss,
Kyle,Troy,Ethan, Logan,Christian,Hanna.
He loved having a big family,and he was everything a father and grandad should be,he was outgoing,lively and fun,he had a wicked sense of humour and was a fun person to be around.
All the memories I have of him are good ones,there isnt a single bad moment I can recall-he was-in my eyes-the most perfect grandad a child could ever wish for.
He died in hospital on Tuesday 21st August just before 5.30 pm ,just a few days short of his 80th birthday. He will be missed by all of his family and his friends......he has left a void that no one can ever fill.
One thing is for sure,that wonderful man I am SO proud to have called my grandad,has left behind such wonderful memories for us all to share,he may not be physically here with us,but he will never be far away as he is in all our hearts.
All of the photographs here show the family man,him laughing or goofing about-each one makes me smile because they capture him so well.

A year has passed
Since you were taken away from us,not a day goes by when i dont think about you,i miss you terribly. I know you are happy again with Nan,but you have left a void nothing and noone can fill.

I didnt know William other than through Nikki, who talked about him often. Grandads should be loved as much as he is.
